A fun 3 day offsite in Europe for 100 guests, suggested destinations from Smartodds employees were Ibiza and Portugal, we just had to create the perfect itinerary.
After initial flight schedules, hotel suggestions, itineraries and quotes were sent through we decided to throw Barcelona into the mix as we believed this destination ticked all of the boxes and worked better with the client’s budget.
After the client put the destinations to a vote Barcelona was the winner!
We booked every element of this offsite, the client requested that their staff should be able to choose which London airport they flew out from so we juggled departures from Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow. On arrival our team of hosts greeted guests and whisked them off to the Pullman Barcelona Skipper where guests collected their arrival snack pack, personalised itineraries and their room keys.
That evening guests enjoyed a drinks reception overlooking the hotel pools and a private dinner in the onsite Syrah restaurant.
A half day meeting took place on the morning of day two, following by a buffet lunch. Finally, in the afternoon guests got to go off on their selected activities, these ranged from a catamaran excursion with flowing Sangria, Gaudi tour, spa treatments or have some free time by the hotel’s rooftop pool.
As guests returned to the hotel, they could pick up a snack and refreshment and enjoy some free time, before heading out to dinner at the nearby Shoko. Shoko is a Japanese / Mediterranean restaurant in a fantastic setting on the beachfront, a delicious restaurant turning into a nightclub later in the evening. Shoko was a short 5-minute walk from the hotel and provided the best setting for those diners who wanted to continue partying into the early hours with their VIP wristbands.
As the sun rose over Barcelona guests could head off once again on their pre-selected activities. Today these included a football stadium sports tour, yoga on the beach and a volleyball tournament. A buffet lunch was arranged following the activities before the guests headed on their transfers to catch their flights home.
All aspects of the trip were booked and coordinated onsite by Uptown Events, it was a fun trip with a great company.
