The first feature that came to the attention of the guests walking into the reception room were the five 10ft high James Bond cut outs that were laid against the pillars of the room. Jazz music from the Bond movies was playing in the background with a accompaniment by a  saxophonist. The kids had the opportunity to enjoy the newest gadget technology entertainment that gave them digital key rings with a variety of different pictures of themselves stored in the memory.

The main room was completely draped in black pinch pleat with silver lame strips giving a glamorous look and the tables and chairs were covered in black lycra. Each table was named after a James Bond movie which were themed in accordance and the table centres were all incredible pieces of movie history from each of the films. The items were boxed inside Perspex cubes and looked just like museum exhibits. For example “The Golden Gun” table had the display of the actual Golden Gun from the film. The place cards were created to look like small British Passports and contained the benching book, menus and speech list.

The kids table was made to look like Q’s lab. A 2 metre backdrop hung behind the centre of the kids table presenting the letter Q in 3D and floor to ceiling PVC banners were hung either side, showing different pictures taken from a British lab. The table centre was a long two level Perspex shelf with hundreds of spy gadgets for the kids to take and play with.

The stage was built in multiple levels with silver glitter stage boards and a matching DJ booth. Behind the DJ booth was a giant LED screen projecting pictures of the family, live camera and James Bond clips throughout the night.

The overall look of the room was stunning, elegant and fascinating. The reaction of each guest as they walked into the main room was amazing. The party had started to get going and guests began filling the black LED dance floor.

A spectacular three course dinner was served finishing with mini expanding wipes to clean guests’ hands after the food. A LED bar was set up for the kids serving non-alcoholic cocktails and a second mirror bar was set for the adults with a selection of colourful cocktails.
