To produce the Rosewood Hotel’s first Barmitzvah since its opening following a multi-million pound renovation.
As Rosewood has been re-styled from a historic building to an ultra-luxury contemporary venue, we wanted to retain the sense of grandeur and enhance the new ballroom, rather than transform it.
We built a wall to section off the room as the room was not full to capacity. We chose battleship grey and black to compliment the ballroom’s neutral interior and used floral tablecentres to introduce an element of colour, matching the arrangements on the bar with the tables.
For the Barmitzvah boy’s entrance, he had pre-rehearsed a rap with the live musicians accompanying the DJ which he walked into whilst his guests went wild – wooping and cheering from around the dancefloor.
The two children’s tables we positioned either side of the dancefloor to ensure the dancefloor was always full and UV canons were used later in the evening for a neon effect, accentuated by our UV tattooist who painted patterns onto guests which glowed under the light.
Our two dancers kept the atmosphere electric throughout the evening and the party was a great success – we are sure the first of many at such a great venue.
