The Brief

To find a unique night club style venue for the client who has used the services of Uptown Events for the last 5 years. It was important that the event was something different and unusual, to be in the City of London, a themed event with an inclusive bar and top quality food.

The Venue

Boudoir Nightclub, just behind Moorgate, in the heart of the City was the exciting choice. This was perfect for the 250 people attending with 3 separate areas for the different types of entertainment that would take place. Two of these areas were transformed into boudoirs using rich fabrics and furnishings to give both a relaxed and luxurious ambiance. This very alternative venue gives a feeling of being both decadent and stylish, and is located in an underground vault with stunning raw brick arches.

The Event

The client company decided that the theme would be an American 1950s style School Prom. To enhance the theme Uptown Events provided The School Prom band playing music through the decades. Food was canape style which continued to circulate in copious amounts for three hours. In each of the entertainment areas a specific DJ and different music was played. This was greatly enjoyed by the partygoers giving a choice for everyone’s taste in music. The party went on until 3am, the dance areas were still pulsating with music and action and the feedback from the client was that it was a stunning and highly successful event.
