Brief

To supply entertainment with the ‘wow factor’ and to produce an awesome and
visually stunning party at The Palace suite of The Royal Garden Hotel.

The Production

To create that wow factor, Uptown Events transformed the entire banqueting
suite from the ‘reddish’ colours and ‘traditional’ décor of a London hotel-
banqueting suite into a visually stunning room. This was achieved by draping
the walls in starcloth. Following the drinks reception, as the guests entered
the main dining hall there was a general ‘gasp of surprise and astonishment’.

Following the four-course dinner and the speech by the CEO, we had staff on
standby to reveal the large chocolate fountain (which had been hidden by
purpose built black partitions – onto which we had projected the companies
logo). A cheer from the guests met the announcement and sight of the
chocolate fountain! An assortment of fruit and sweet dips was laid out and
continually replenished throughout the evening.

The Entertainment

The party really began once the disco started, the dancefloor instantly filled,
and it remained that way until the early hours! We had installed our specially
designed premier nightclub disco rig, which is elegant but eye-catching. The
rig includes all the latest high-tech equipment; with MAC lighting effects and
all the lighting is supported on a silver Tri-light and black Star Cloth to
complete the rig.
