Brief
To plan, organise and manage a themed event to celebrate 10 years of
successful business for the Directors, Management, Staff and Suppliers
of the
Virgin Drinks Group. It was imperative that the venue, theme and
entertainment reflected this progressive, exciting and creative company.
The Venue
The chosen venue was The Blue Room in the heart of the west end. The client
felt that The Blue Room was the perfect venue for this high profile event.
The
layout, atmosphere, décor, location and flexible packages available
at this
unique venue were among the many reasons that Virgin chose to hold their
10th Anniversary party at The Blue Room.
The Theme
'Fun, Unique, Glamorous and Outrageous' were some of the words bounced
around for the theme of this party at the early stages with the client.
Uptown
Events met the client's requirements and delivered a fantastic bespoke
theme
of Gangster Glam for the client - So authentic, we were lucky the party
was
not raided! The theme package included; the gangster reception that consisted
of Gangster Doormen and gangster molls, Uptown Events Digital Paparazzi,
the
main room of the event was specially lit and fully branded with Virgin
company
logos, merchandise and history. Following dinner and speeches the fun
casino
opened, the three top gangster gamblers received some great prizes!. All
guests received topical 'gangster party goods' - Sir Richard Branson looked
fantastic in his newly acquired Al Capone trilby hat!
With the theme, excellent food, flair barmen, brilliant staff and fantastically
versatile DJ - every guest thoroughly enjoyed themselves at this Gangster
Glam party.
