Brief

A The requirements of our client was to plan, organise and manage a whole
daytime and evening for the London office staff, the requirements included;

End of year company meeting

Team building activity day

Christmas party - dinner dance (with an award ceremony).

Upon the clients request the daytime team building activity had to be linked to
the evening Christmas party theme. The theme for the evening was The Oscars.

Uptown Events reconstructed The Hollywood Oscars, by transforming the
prestigious West End venue into the setting of the infamous award ceremonies
from Hollywood with full theming, production, paparazzi, live video feedback
onto giant video screens, and a choreographed awards ceremony.

The daytime team building activity day was planned to follow the theme of The
Oscars. The entertainment team (consisting of professional actors, directors,
makeup artist and film crew) assisted by a Woody Allen look-a-like delivered
the brief for the day, which was for the company to be split into groups, to
watch a famous scene from a blockbuster movie and then plan, adapt,
reconstruct and ultimately act out their particular scene.

The company were given scripts, costume and props to assist in the
re-enactment. The result was a very fulfilling, inspiring and enlightening day
followed by an amazing, and entertaining dinner / awards / dance evening.
